Jupiter Retrograde in Pisces 2022 Learn more about it!

A few days ago, I shared an in-depth blog about the Mars, Rahu, and Uranus Conjunction in Aries. If you haven’t read it yet, the link is here. However, in that blog, I shared a peek into another momentous shift that is going to happen in the near future – the Jupiter Retrograde 2022.

This particular blog will explore deeply this retrograde phenomenon, the dates involved and the overall impact.

Breakdown of all the Important Dates

Jupiter entered Pisces (Meena Rashi) on April 13, 2022, and will eventually enter Aries (Mesh Rashi) on April 22, 2023, Saturday at 06:12 AM.

In the Pisces sign, Jupiter’s transit will be in three Nakshatras:

Purva Bhādrapadā – 13th April to 28th April 2022

Uttara Bhādrapadā – 28th April to 23rd February 2023

Revati – 24th February to 21st April 2023

Jupiter transit in Pisces encourages people to learn about alternative careers like healing, astrology, tarot card, reiki practitioners, occult science, Yoga etc.

Jupiter is currently transiting the Uttara Bhādrapadā Nakshatra (4th Pada) and the retrograde will be on July 29, 2022, at 02:06 AM (IST) at 14 degrees. It will continue to retrograde in the Uttara Bhādrapadā nakshatra.

The total period of the retrogression will last for 119 days, following which Jupiter will turn progressive on November 24, 2022, at 04:31 AM (IST) at 4 degrees.

Throughout the transit, Jupiter will remain in the Uttara Bhādrapadā and will be owned and governed by the influence of Saturn.

In order to understand what Jupiter Retrograde 2022 Means, we need to explore more about the individual elements that are involved in retrograde transit. This includes learning more about:

• What does the retrogression phenomenon mean?

So, let us break them down one by one.

Jupiter

In Astrology, Jupiter is a planet associated with wealth, wisdom and abundance. It is considered to be a blessing in a native’s chart, if well placed. It has a very powerful influence on people’s lives and generally for the better. Jupiter is called Jeeva Karaka. Ideally, whichever Rashi Jupiter transits, native experience expansive energy in that particular area of their life. However, it is also a sea of complexity when discussed in Vedic Astrology.

Also known as Devaguru or Brishaspti, Jupiter is considered one of the most powerful planets. It often impacts people’s lives extremely (and not always in a negative way).

Jupiter’s influence also unveils people’s spiritual side and is very closely linked with progeny, marriage, knowledge, gyaana, overall luck and happiness. The planet is considered a natural benefic, meaning that it fosters a positive influence on one’s life. However, if the planet turns weak or malefic, things can quickly take a turn for the worse.

Jupiter is also termed the planet of luck and contributes to the formation of ideologies. It is also a benevolent and noble planet that is associated with fortune and prosperity.

Pisces (Meena Rashi)

Pisces is a popular water sign in Vedic Astrology, representing ‘the Vast Ocean’ and often signifies people who are compassionate, artistic, gentle, wise and intuitive. It is the twelfth and last sign of the zodiac. It is a “Dwi–Swabhav Rashi, which means the native may be in a dual mindset while decision making and is often carried away when it comes to taking firm decisions.

Pisces people often trust people easily, which results in both good and bad influences on their lives. What stands out is that Pisces individuals are often very cooperative and willing to help others in need. However, they also don’t see eye to eye on certain things, which can lead to conflicts.

It is also considered that Neptune also rules Pisces. Both Jupiter and Neptune are planets known for their strong intuition.

Retrogrades are one of the most common cosmic events but they are also one of the most dreaded since they bring extreme impacts on the individual zodiac signs – both good and bad. Most of the planetary retrograde phenomena are responsible for inciting feelings like confusion, revisions, discomfort, delays etc.

Retrograde is derived from a Latin word, retrogradus, which means “backward step”. In Astrology, a retrograde motion is derived as a backward motion of the planet. However, there is a difference between actually breaking the law of physics and what happens.

During a retrograde phenomenon, a planet’s orbit aligns with ours (Earth) in a way that it looks like the said planet is slowing down or moving in a backward spin.

A period of retrograde generally involves undertaking a review, reassessment and also retracing certain parts of one’s life.

More about the Jupiter Retrograde Phenomenon

Since December, 2018 until April 13, 2022, the Jupiter Retrograde has been in and out of Rashis, to and fro movement with the forward and latter Rashi. Now it is constantly going to be in Pisces throughout the entire transit until 22nd April 2023.

Before turning retrograde, Jupiter will be stationary for a few days between July 24, 2022, to August 01, 2022. This stationary period will be extremely powerful and introduce positive influences in the lives of people who have any planets at 14 degrees in their chart. They are more likely to get divine blessings from Jupiter during this period.

Towards the end of the retrogression, Jupiter will be stationary again at 4 degrees between November 21 to November 27, 2022. So similarly, this stationary period will be extremely powerful and introduce positive influences in the lives of people who have any planets at 4 degrees in their chart.

Also, as I mentioned before, Jupiter is a benefic planet, one that contributes to growth and expansion. Jupiter with its individual 5th, 7th and 9th Drishti will benefit several planets as per their individual charts.

During the current transit, Jupiter is in Pisces with its:

• 9th Drishti will benefit Cancer Rashi
• 7th Drishti will benefit Virgo Rashi
• 5th Drishti will benefit Scorpio Rashi

Caution: This particular retrograde transit is expected to bring tsunamis, and floods, which might indicate potential loss of life across the world.

Also, during any Jupiter retrogression, things slow down drastically, especially pertaining to the economy. A few of the projects that are in your pipeline currently during the transit might end up getting delayed a bit. You might notice the results coming in a bit late. However, things will soon start picking up once Jupiter is progressive again.

Also if you have retrograde Jupiter in your natal chart, then you are likely to experience more events during this period of 119 days of retrogression.
