The game started. The Goddess Parvati won three times in a row but the boy was declaring Lord Shiva as the winner every time. Angry by this, Goddess Parvati cursed the boy to be stuck in a swamp. After that, the boy apologized to her and pleaded for mercy. Parvati, being emotional, forgave him & told to break the curse with the help of Vish-Kanyas & observing Sankashti Ganesh Chaturthi vrat for a total of 21 days. Ultimately, the boy kept the fast and pleased Lord Ganesha who made him free from the curse.
